What we do to keep fit.

Everybody wants to live a long life and to be healthy and fit. Looking young and fit is in fashion. What do people do to keep fit?
Physical activity is a key factor. City dwellers often spend their days sitting – in their cars, in their offices, in front of their computers. They lack physical exercise. Fortunately, there are lots of sports centres and fitness clubs in cities. People can do aerobics, yoga or weight-lifting. They can go swimming in the swimming pools. Everybody can choose the kind of activity, which appeals to them best. Some people want to develop strength, others – stamina, still others – suppleness.
There are stadiums and sports grounds. They help people to keep fit, too. It is easy to go jogging or to play basketball when there is a sports ground nearby. In winter one can go skiing and enjoy the fresh air.
Healthy diet is important, too. One should get enough vitamins and nutrients. It is great if your food is fresh and your diet is balanced. We should limit the amount of fatty food and fizzy drinks if we want to stay healthy and fit.
They say "health is above wealth”. I agree with it. A sick person is unhappy and makes people around unhappy too. So, keeping fit is not just a choice, it is our duty.
